I'll be speaking at CFinNC, doing "Hidden Gems in CFBuilder"

CFinNC - Carolina ColdFusion / Flex / Air Conference - Oct 17-18, 2009For those attending the awesome free CFInNC conference this coming weekend in Raleigh NC, I'll be speaking on "Hidden Gems in CFBuilder". See the description there for more.

I mentioned last week that I was starting my "Hidden Gems in CF9" series of blog entries, and I'll eventually do a class based on that. In the meantime, I will also soon start sharing some of these CFBuilder hidden gems here as well.

So if you're coming to CFinNC, please look me up and say hello. And if you're not yet planning to attend but live within a few hours driving distance (I'll be driving the 5 hours from Atlanta), you should definitely consider it. There will ba a lot of great speakers and content, as well as community and festivities, all for free.

Help spread the word, online or by grabbing a flyer to put up at your workplace. It's not too late!

Thanks for coming Charlie, your hidden gem talks are always some of my favorites...but you throw so much stuff out so fast, it's hard to catch it all! This talk was no exception, so looking forward to the blog posts for the ones that I missed (or more like, dang it, I know he said you could do this, now *where* the heck did they hide that setting?!)

Thanks. Let me say to everyone there that I did get to post the presentation that evening, as I hoped. It's available on the presentation link of my site (carehart.org/presentations). And I do hope to start repeating and expanding on them as blog entries soon.

So you were there, Mary Jo? I wish you'd come up and said hello. In a room of so many people, I don't really see every face. Indeed, I didn't realize you were at the event, but again that happens when there are a couple hundred people. Gosh, I wonder who else I may not have seen. :-) Thanks for the kind regards.

Great, look forward to going through the presentation again.

I live only 20 minutes from the campus in Raleigh, so a no-brainer for me to attend. And Charlie, you didn't recognize me having met me maybe once or twice years ago?! I'm shocked! I had my head buried in my laptop most of the presentation trying out each tip as they flew by, so you wouldn't have seen much of my face regardless. ;-) I thought about dropping by for a quick hi, but am shyer than I often let on, and still find it hard to meet people in person. So apologies for that. If you are down here again, I promise to introduce myself the next time!
